Privacy policy

The short version
Everything you type into a calculator stays in your browser. Your measurements and results are never transmitted to us or to anyone else. This site currently sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers.
Who is responsible
ConcreteTally (https://concretetally.com) is published by an independent individual, who is the data controller for the limited processing described on this page. Write to [email protected] for any privacy matter — including a request to know, delete or correct what is held, and including a request for the controller's identity and contact details, which are supplied on request. Privacy queries are one of the categories the contact inbox answers.
Calculator inputs
Calculations run entirely in your browser. The figures you enter — yard dimensions, pool size, current chemical readings — are processed locally and discarded when you leave the page. They are not stored, logged, or sent to any server. Nothing you enter is used to build a profile of you, because nothing you enter leaves your device.
Hosting and server logs
The site is served by Cloudflare, Inc., which processes technical request data (such as IP addresses) as necessary to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. See the Cloudflare privacy policy for details.
Advertising (not yet active)
If advertising is introduced, this page will be updated before it takes effect, and a consent notice will be shown before any advertising cookies are set. You will be able to refuse, and every calculator will keep working after refusal.
We do not sell or share your personal information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. There is no mailing list, no account, and no lead form on this site — nothing here collects your name, address, phone number or email except an email you choose to send us, which is used only to answer that message.
If you are in California, or a state with a similar law
California's privacy law gives residents rights to know, delete, correct and opt out in respect of personal information a business holds about them, and several other states now have comparable laws. Because this site does not collect personal information about visitors, in practice there is normally nothing held to act on — but you can always ask at the address above, and we will answer.
Children
This site is intended for adults planning building and yard projects. It does not knowingly collect information from children.
